On Saturday March 30th St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Exton hosted PathWays PA’s Second Annual Center for Families Art Show.
Lenora Pope, Program Director of the Center for Families, leads therapeutic art activities designed to help children living at the Center begin to address the trauma they have experienced prior to coming to PathWays PA. The Art Show is an opportunity for the children to display their art and discuss their inspiration to create the work and the meaning behind it. This outlet of expression allows the children to engage their minds, bodies and senses. The art this year has four themes – Sharpie Art, Pour Painting, Collage and Creative. As a bonus, this year’s show will also feature art work created by some of the mothers living at the Center for Families.
